Storytelling is meant to connect us to one another. The unchanging truth is that we all have a story to tell. We may not always have the voice to share it or know the best way to share it. but no person is without.
Maya Angelou's quote carries the weight I have observed in many people today. Generations yearning to be heard and known, and yet instead, in silence, roar the rise of anxiety and depression.

Uninhibited, I began to share my story with anyone who would listen. Some received me and others denied me, but with every attempt, I felt a release. An unlocking. The expansiveness of fresh breath. I gave away my story and in return received freedom.
Our stories are too powerful and are not meant to be locked up or hidden. Let it soar into the world and rest there. Let it out from within you and be free.
